Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.... Today (About) 2007 years ago Jesus was born in a manger! This morning at 8:00 my brother comes running into my room waking me up! Then we open presents. I gave my mom, dad and brother a little atv and i got lots of little things and 200 dollars! My brother and i both got a nice Keyboard for the basement! That was just a little about my Christmas! We just got our computer back but we don't have the files yet so I can't do much on it besides get on the internet and stuff like that! My friend Molly informed me that I need to update my blog. Well I have been wanting to post some pictures and stuff but my computer has a virus so I to have use my dad's for the time being. He is going to bring it in to get it totally wiped out on Monday and I don't know how long it will take. I just want to let you know that I not leaving you guys hanging! It's rain it's icing

Last year in February we had a ice storm and the roads were inches thick with ice. It was not good. It started on a Saturday and we missed monday and tuesday of school! Everyone was out of power. Luckly we had a generator and we had power! So all of my friends came over to my house and we had a fun party! Well we are having the same kind of storm today. So we are getting our generator ready and hoping for the best. I have my 3 night of dinner theater proformance at chuch tonight and it was most likely be canceled. Christmas Tree

Last night we were going to set up our new Christmas tree. We bought it last year 2 days before Christmas but we never opened it because we did not want to get it out and then put it into storage. It came it 2 boxes, one said 1 of 2 and the other 2 of 2. But when we opened to boxes they were the same thing. So we got only and called hobby lobby and hopefuly thet will let us exchange it because we did not keep the receipt!!!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Sorry I did not get to this sooner but last night our internet was done for some reason. Well anyway.... Last night I went over to my youth pastor's house to hand out candy and stuff to the kids. It was so much fun! One of the first people that we saw trick or treating were on the same side of the street as we were and then all of a sudden they crossed the street. I heard them say.... thoughs Christian people are soooooo idotic. We just looked at each other and started laughing. It was so funny! Otherwise I did not do anything. My brother for the first time did not want to go trick or treating. i guess it's not cool for 9 year olds to got trick or treating!

Happy Birthday!

Today is my dad's birthday. I love my dad so much. He is such a roll modal to me. Last night my brother and I made him a cake. I have been the only one that has been eathing though. A couple of years ago he got us into ATVing. We have been addicted ever since. In fact he bought another one today for my brother to ride. We have gone though I think 8 ATVs in almost 2 years I think. He is a very successful Dad. He works very hard. He has a full time job plus he builds houses on the side just for fun!
It is not just my Dad's birthday. It was also my Grandma's birthday. My Grandma died of 14 years of cancer about 3 or 4 years ago. It was a very hard time and it was very hard for me. The cemitary she is at is not even a mile away and in the winter when there is not corn or beans I ride my ATV over there. She also was the reason I became a SCC fan. When she was in her last week a man came to sing to her and he sang "With Hope" By Steven Curtis Chapman. I loved it and I was in tears and I was a fan ever since!

Smiles for Education

Today was the first day that I did not have CC practice afterschool. My friends Dad picks us up from school. One of my other friend's mom came over to me and said that, Molly, My friends little sister had won the Smiles for Education drawing from Hy-Vee! Well If you don't know I won it when I was in 5th grade. Every year they draw 10 kids name though out the mid-west. I got an ipod nano (The day they came out) and my school got $7,500 for my school. They came to our school and I was on the radio and my class got to be on the news and the front page of the Des Moines Register! And a party of my choice for my class! This year they are giving out a dell labtop and $5,000 to the schools! It was so cool because we are really close and that it is VERY unlikely to have 2 people in the same town plus know eachother well! Here is what was in the paper when I won. I look soooo little! Congratz Molly!

New Look!

I have been wanting to change the heading for the longest time but I just haven't had time. But the main thing that stopped me was I did not know what I wanted to do with it. So finally I made one. I am going to try to switch it out often. You CCCer's just send me pictures and I will make a heading out of it!

New Problem

Last night when I could not sleep, I got off my loft and went to get my ipod. When I tryed to turn it on the screen was discolored. Since my mom was really tired she had gone to bed early and I did not want to wake her up so I desided to wait until morning to tell her. I was planning for her go crazy and say I should have been more resonsible and stuff but NO. She took it like it was a good thing. She like, I am surprised it lasted this long, or you haven't lost it yet. You have had it since the day the nanos came out. We will just have to get a new one... A better one. I was amazed! So now I will be waiting for my new ipod.

One of a lot of things to blog about

OK so I have a lot of things I want to get around to blogging about... time is the problem. Then I will have a list of things to write about and what do you think happens when I don't write things like that down?!?!?! I FORGET!!!!!!! So the 1st thing that came to mind about what was on my list. The Steven Curtis Chapman concert... He and his band are coming to Des Moines on Thursday and who do you think got front row tickets?!?!? Mua!!!! The thing is that I will be coming from my CC meet in The DM area but that means I will be hot and sweety, so if I get a good time I will quickly go to my Aunt't house so I can shower... I am sooo excited! This will be my 3rd SCC concert!!!!!!!! The opening bands are Bethany Dillion and Santius Real. Will (SCC's youngest son, 16) is playing the drums for all 3 of them! I will be in heaven! And don't worry about not getting to see pictures, I already have a new memory card that holds 1888 pic. and I already told my mom she is also bringing her good camera! OK so now I am just jabbing..... More intresting next time!(maybe)

Riverside Challenge Coarse

If you don't know, This website was put together because this summer at camp I went to Riverside Bible Camp with my friend, Lauren! We had a blast! The one we chose was CCC camp.(Camping, Canoeing, and Christ!) We also did the challenge coarse that the YMCA camp let us use! Well I was on the Riverside website and I read soming about Challenge Coarse, so I clicked on it and it said that they were going to get one of thier own Challenge Coarses! I was so happy that I could not wait to post it! If you want more info about it I have a link on the side bar!

1st Cross Country Meet!

This will be short and sweet but today I had my first Cross Country Meet! I was really nervous but I made it! My time was not bad either for the 1st race. I got 6th on my team. (I think) and my time was 17:41... The first 6 of us were a min. apart! That is all I have time for.... SORRY

No Title

9-11 has never really hit me this hard. I don't know why but I keep thinking about how kids my age were being told the news about this time 6 years ago that a parent or parents was hurt or did not make it. I don't know how someone would be able to tell that to a 1st grader. I never understood how much of a tragedy this was to our country. I remember when I was told about what had happen. I can't imagine what is would be like to have a perent there. What else it there to say about this tragedic day?

UNI/Iowa State football

Today UNI (Northern Iowa) is playing Iowa State! I just want to let you know that UNI is going to win! I am a big UNI fan and Iowa State is going down! I was in Ames today at my softball games and the traffic was really bad becuase of the game. By the way we won both of your games! I will keep you posted on the game!

A trip to Sports Page

Today I woke up and my foot was really bothering me. It has been bothering me for the passed couple of days. But it was really hurting today. The pain has been in the arch of my left foot and whenever I walk if feels like them mustle will not let me move my foot anymore. So my mom said it was time to get new running shoes. I tried on nike and asics and really like the Asics. The shoes I had before were Asics too but they wern't running shoes. My mom wanted me to get the nike becuase they were cheaper but I insisted that the Asics felt better. So my mom tried them on. First she tried the Nike. She was saying how nice they felt. Then she put the Asics on, then she changed her mind about how nice the Nike felt! long story short that I got the shoes I wanted and she then got shoes that were even more out of the trip! I gave her a hard time about that!

Seriously, I am sore!

Today I started Cross Country! I am sore and stiff! I have a headache! But I had fun! Ashtyn and I are both running! It was hard because I did not run much this summer! That is all I have today! I thought you might want to know what is going on because I will not be not the computer as much so whenever I am on I will try to blog!

Camera Part 2

So today when my dad got home he had good news! He brought my memory card into work and he got the pictures! He had the techo guy download a retreaving software to get the pictures! Well I got the pictures! I did not get all of them but I got some! That just took the weight off my shoulders! Well I have to go I am in a very important converation with my friend Ashtyn!!!! Will picture pictures later!

First day of School!

So today was my first day of school! For one it is too soon to be starting. Even though we are one of the last districts to start in Iowa it still feels like the summer was too short! The day started off with going to school with my mom as I did last year. But this year unstead of riding the bus, I am walking! But today I got a ride from another teacher that has a kid in my grade too because we had so much stuff! I was early but there were already a lot of people standing out front. But none of my friends were there yet so I just stood there. Once the bell had rung I went to my locker! And what do you know, I opened on the first time! When I went to Orinatation it did not open very often! I went to homeroom. We just went over expectations. I get so tired of the expection talk in every class! Then I went to gym. I was a little late because I was lost! But it was not a big deal! I was a little late to my 3 class but she knew it was becuase I was lost! Then I did the rest of my classes and stuff and got out of school at 2:25 today! It was a better first day than I thought it would be!

Great just what I need!

Ok... Sorry this is a day late, My computer went wacko right about the time I was going to publish and I did not have time later to do it! Luckly I have auto save!


So I would have posted my South Carolina pictures by now but there has been a problem. So right when I got home I plugged my camera into the computer. Well if you don't know my camera has a problem with downloading pictures. Most of the time I take my memory card, put it into my dad's camera, download it onto his computer and then take my jump drive and bring it to my computer. Well I would have done that but my dad was not home. Well the that night I went to a friends birthday party. I would also have pictures for that because I took tons! All of a sudden my camera said "Card Failed". And then it deleted all of my pictures. Which then I had some South Dakota pictures on there. But that was not a big deal because I have plenty of pictures for that. My main reason for making this such a big deal was because I was the only one to take pictures in South Carolina because my grandparents do not have a camera. They are gone. You don't know how I am feeling about this right now. I will give you an update later about my picture crisis!

Exchange with Sakura

for the past 10 days a girl named Sakura from Japan stayed with me and my family. It has been a lot of fun! We did crafts, went to the pool, went to the capitol, Adventureland, Wal-mart, and the list could go on. Well lets just say that this morning when I brought her to the airport there were tiers in everyone's eyes. I hope you enjoy the pictures. They just tell a little about what we did.

Valley Fair!

2 days ago I went to Valley Fair with my youth group! I had a lot of fun! 5 hours in the bus with 20 people was just what I was wanting to do! LOL! If you have been to Valley Fair you know that there is a ride called “Extreme Swing”. Well it is this swing like arms (2 arms) and it would swing 40 people up in the air at once and you would be looking strait down at the trees or people. Everyone looked really small. That was one of my favorite rides. But my favorite ride was the Steel Venom. The picture explains it all! So that is my top 5!
PS- We went by riverside on the way up!

Bikini Baby

This is my Top 5 of the week! It started out with going with my friend Maddison to DM to spend the night and then go to adventureland in the morning! When we got to DM we went to Merle Hay Mall (Zach I thought of you!) and we got Maddison's sister a bikini! What was funny about it was that she is only 1 1/2 old! She was so cute and funny!

Rain Rain Go way

It was a nice day, our first day at the campground we started to unloud the canoes and then it started to thunder. So we waited awile for it to pass through. Once it did we got the canoes to the lake. We did a little canoeing in the lake before it started to look like rain. Candice did not want to chance it so we started to had back for land. Once we got back to land it started to downpoor! I mean Down Poor! We were soaked! And Kate forgot to shut the door to the girls tent so all of our stuff got wet! So we ended up drying all of our stuff under the dryer in the batheroom! What a sight!
