If you know me you know that i am a huge Steven Curtis Chapman fan. Well on Thursday Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp will be at the state fair! Of course i got tickets 2 hours after they went on sale and we could only get seats in the 11th row:( Since I am a freak and must not have anything better to do on a rainny Sunday, I created a fact sheet on Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp. I was going to do this yesterday but we went ATVing and then I went to a friend's house. Most of them are really random but hey, I am a very random person!

Facts about Steven Curtis Chapman

1. SCC has 2 kids married.
2. Kids names are Emily, Caleb, Will, Shaohannah (Shaoey), Stevey Joy, Maria
3. Wife is Mary Beth
4. Mary Beth’s maiden name was Chapman. They met in college when their mail would get mixed up.
5. Mary Beth’s birthday is November 6, 1964
6. SCC has a tattoo on his ankle that says God Follower
7. Maria was a special needs orphan since she had a hole in her heart. It turned out that she never did have a hole in her heart.
8. Emily married Tanner Richards on October 4, 2008.
9. Tanner proposed on an airplane on May 17th.
10. SCC’s favorite song is Blessed by your name.
11. SCC’s bff (besides MB of course) is Matt Redman
12. SCC and his family had just left Beijing an hour before the earthquake hit last year.
13. Will’s girlfriend’s name is Ruthie. (I know, not JoanL)
14. The Chapman’s have a dog named Max. Steven is not a big fan of Max!

3. Jeremy’s first wife, Melissa, died of cancer.

5. Their daughters are Isabella (Bella) and Arianne (Ari)
6. Adie is 12 weeks pregnant.
7. Jeremy and Adie have iphones.
8. They got married in December, 2003.
9. Adie has an album called Don’t Wait.
10. Jeremy took Adie out to dinner planning on breaking up but accidentally asked her to marry him.

Wordless Wednesday

Do I really need to say anything? When we had have paint a portait of one of our heros in art... everyone does people like Carrie Underwood and Bon Jovi. Who do I pick? Duh.... SCC

Ashtyn's Suprise

Ashtyn's birthday was on Friday and I surprised her by going to her soccer game and then we got a hotel room and spent the night there. All the hotel had left for rooms was an executive board suites. We walk in and there is this HUGE conference table, a kitchen, 3 tv's, 2 bathrooms... It was awesome because then they weren't on top of me when I got sick in the morning (long story). Then we went shopping and since I lost my purse on Wednesday I had only 40 bucks and I learned that it is really hard getting clothes with only $40. I spent $39 exact! We went home and we did barbie workout! It was really hard! On Sunday we went to Ashtyn's church and there was a life size cardboard Steven Curtis Chapman! Of coarse i made them take my picture with it! It was awesome!

This has been an emotional week for me and many others. The Chapman family have suffered a huge loss. I am sure all of you have heard about the loss of their youngest daughter, Maria. Around 5pm on Wednesday the family was getting ready to celebrate the engagement of their oldest daughter, Emily. One of the boys pulled in the driveway and did not see precious Maria and she got this. All of the family saw this tragic accident. I was really hit with this accident. I would have never known when I got into blogging that when you read others blog and something tragic happens to them that you feel grief like you have met that person. You have something inside of you that is apart of it. I think that is what hit me the most. And how much life is going to change for them.

I had a friend that really helped me though all of this. She is always someone I can go to if I need someone to cry on her shoulder. Keenexes were always on hand! She knows how to make me smile. This week it was with mentos! I was in tears on the way to school. Makeup all over my face and she had mentos sitting right next to her. She reached over and said, " Do you want a mento." I like mentos but it's not like I love them. So she carried them with her all day and whenever she thought I was having a hard time she would say, "Need a mento?" She would always get a smile out of me.

One of a lot of things to blog about

OK so I have a lot of things I want to get around to blogging about... time is the problem. Then I will have a list of things to write about and what do you think happens when I don't write things like that down?!?!?! I FORGET!!!!!!! So the 1st thing that came to mind about what was on my list. The Steven Curtis Chapman concert... He and his band are coming to Des Moines on Thursday and who do you think got front row tickets?!?!? Mua!!!! The thing is that I will be coming from my CC meet in The DM area but that means I will be hot and sweety, so if I get a good time I will quickly go to my Aunt't house so I can shower... I am sooo excited! This will be my 3rd SCC concert!!!!!!!! The opening bands are Bethany Dillion and Santius Real. Will (SCC's youngest son, 16) is playing the drums for all 3 of them! I will be in heaven! And don't worry about not getting to see pictures, I already have a new memory card that holds 1888 pic. and I already told my mom she is also bringing her good camera! OK so now I am just jabbing..... More intresting next time!(maybe)
